Feathered inhabitations

You can enjoy various flying beauties in our park area and landscaped gardens. The species that have settled permanently include a flock of partridges, kestrel couple, quails, blackbirds and titmouse. Last year a mallard duck couple spent some time at our park and we hope for a comeback this year.

Did you know? Interesting facts about partridges:

  • The Grey Partridge is a non-migratory terrestrial species, which forms flocks outside the breeding season.
  • Diet of grey partridge depends on the age. Young birds eat insects such as beetles and aphids. Adults feed on seed, cereals, grass and shoots.
