Revetas Capital introduces an innovative flexible workspace concept - Re:Share
There is a growing need for flexible employment opportunities and this is one of the challenges for landlords, especially in large business centers. It is important for the office space to be consistent with the sanitary requirements and healthy work practices, as well as the necessary social distance norms. The offices of the new reality more than ever need to comply with the balance of the work environment and fit into the space elements of the corporate culture.
According to Mariya Tantilova, marketing and leasing manager of Sofia Airport Center, it is extremely important for the offered premises to adequately meet the post-pandemic requirements of their tenants.
"This will not only add value to the overall conditions, but will also help combine comfort, work, safety, professional and personal life, so that all involved are in harmony and can effectively develop their strengths. Together with the tenants we have managed to build the SAC community, where the developed values for supporting the corporate culture of the companies are in sync with the overall idea to be a reliable partner for our tenants.
Sofia Airport Center is part of the Revetas Fund II portfolio. Worldwide, the fund's investments aim to provide a healthy indoor environment for its tenants, minimize resource consumption and greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the amount of non-recyclable waste and reduce operating costs.
Revetas Capital plans to implement the Re: Share concept in its portfolio, combining innovative design concepts, amenities and functionalities. Effective use of common and surrounding areas aims to reduce density and create flexible workstations and recreation areas. At the same time, the investment guarantees the highest safety and health precautions.
The investment project has a working title "The Flex-R lounge" and is the first phase of the overall strategy for renovation and improvement of the common areas in the complex - "Re: Share by Revetas". It is expected to generate a total of 150 new workstations, which includes redesigning parts of the building, as well as adding additional recreation areas around the park. The mission of the project is to encourage companies and their employees to expand beyond their traditional workspace, whether in the new lounge area, on a park bench or around the lake.
The developed project for flexible work is aimed at companies that can and want to try a variety of solutions for their employees without renting additional office space. The expected result is a reduction in the office density by introducing flexible workstations in common areas as a convenience where people can work undisturbed, make phone calls, communicate or just relax.
This is only the first phase of a large-scale project with which SAC invests significantly in the overall development of the business park - says Tantilova. - Our goal is to be fully ready in June and move to the second phase - improving the outdoor park environment. The third phase is focused on building a sports ground and an outdoor gym. During the past months of lock downs and emergencies, our team's mission was to create the most comfortable environment for our partners. "
The new space for a mobile work environment has a total area of 300 sq.m and a height of 15 m. It is equipped with everything necessary for a high-tech work process - fast wireless internet, electricity to each station, modern and adaptive furniture. In accordance with all requirements for distance and safety, the work areas will be separated by plexiglass partitions. There will also be a small library with books and magazines on various topics. New generation vending machines are also provided - with completely contactless access. They will provide hot and cold drinks, as well as healthy food, to anyone who wants to break the standard pattern of work environment and change the situation.
All of these improvements are intended to provide new and different experience in the office.
They are inspired by the need to integrate elements of personal life into the work environment, comply with health regulations and are an innovative solution for companies and employees for whom working from home has proved challenging.
The space is designed in the Home Feeling trend - employees will have all the comforts to work in a cozy environment where they feel comfortable and efficient. The working hours of the space will be from 9:00 to 19:00 to ensure continuous maintenance and disinfection.
A small conference room for 10 people is demised in the space for focused business meetings.
The new space "The Flex-R lounge" is part of the A2 office building, which has a Gold LEED Certificate. It has been operating since 2012 and is the winner of the "Excellence in Office Space" award in the prestigious Employer Branding Awards of B2B Media. As of the beginning of March 2021, the building has approximately 2,400 square meters of free office space, and among the tenants are IBM Bulgaria, CISCO Services Bulgaria, ALSO Bulgaria, B.Braun Medical. Sofia Airport Center has four buildings, three of which are logistics and offer high quality warehouse space.
